Funerals
If you have a need for funeral service, we will endeavour to support you through some of the details and offer care.
Our sanctuary seats 120-135 and the balcony seats 35. The room adjacent to the sanctuary (The Zimmerman Room) is available for receiving your guests and offering some refreshments.
Both the sanctuary, Zimmerman room and washroom are all first floor accessible. We do have a full basement for a larger gathering if needed.
Our United Church Women offer catering and will be pleased to plan with you refreshments for you and your guests.
Know that following the service it is quite usual to check in from time to time or regularly with the Minister to talk with and to find your way through your grief and loss. It may be especially important to connect if you feel particularly stuck in one stage of grief for too long. Know too that the church community has many people in it who have journeyed with loss and have come to a place of serenity in their life.
You may find yourself drawn and helped by being connected to someone in our congregation. You can speak with the minister to talk about how those connections might happen.
